Winemaking
A special selection of grapes are destined for Bruce Jack reserve reds. Grapes are harvested early in the day. They are then crushed, destemmed, and fermented on the skin. Open and closed pump overs are given for colour extract. From there the juice is fermented, blended, stabilized and filtered.
Tasting note
A hedonistic nose of chocolate-smothered purple plums, framed by vanilla and Indian spices introduces a palate of enveloping blanc and red forest fruit, with brambles and white pepper.
Food pairing
Moroccan Lamb, herb-crusted steak, a heart-warming stew or a charcuterie platter.
Cellaring
Can be enjoyed now or cellar at cool temperature for 5 years.

Tannic with a bold, dry, acidic composition. Black fruit and vanilla. Enjoyable
Cinsault, Grenache and Shiraz blend. 14% alcohol. Mid crimson with wide red edge. Scented nose with underlying dark fruit and woodiness. Full bodied palate which is very ripe and had considerable depth. Sweet Grenache showing. Again quite impressive and easy drinking.
Plum and cinnamon. Good value for money.
