Good colour, nose shows cherry fruit with mocha/dark chocolate flavours, well integrated silky tannin, palate is mouth filling, surprisingly complex for such a young wine.

Viticulture Fair Winter rains and a strong, regular growing season. Harvested in early March at optimum maturity.
Winemaking Fruit was gently destemmed before undergoing a cool, temperature controlled fermentation. Twice daily pumpovers were performed to optimise flavour extraction. After 7-10 days in open fermenters the wine was gently pressed to barrels for maturation
