The Chateau du Prieure Cotes du Rhone is the same as the Vignes du Prieure, but the young vine parcels. Same assemblage, just much younger vines that used to be sold off, but due to the quality of the wine are now bottled. The blend is Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Carignan, Syrah (percentages vary depending on vintage), planted on a slight south-facing slope composed of sand and limestoney marl.
